Dr. Sarah Mitchell is a board-certified addiction medicine specialist with over 15 years of clinical experience treating substance use disorders. She serves as Medical Director and Chief Medical Reviewer at Clean & Recovery, where she oversees the medical accuracy of all published content.

Dr. Mitchell completed her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and her residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (FASAM).
